Probably the best I have used and love the aesthetics and the colour. Very happy. Will see the longevity.
There are cheaper 4-slice toasters out there, but I guess you do pay a bit extra for the retro styling - and this toaster does look particularly attractive.The dials go from 1 to 6 and I found a setting of 4 was perfect for my toast.It's a bit lighter than I expected, but the rubberised feet stop it sliding around on your kitchen worktop.Out last toaster lasted some 8 years before failing, so only time will tell how robust this one is.Next day delivery via Prime was appreciated too!

Love the colour,style,anle to toast 4 slices and a variable color of toast with the dials.
Looks great. Very stylish and eye catching.The only gripes are.1.The slots aren't really that deep and some slices have to be upended to toast the whole slice depending on the loaf.2.It would have been better if it had a lift function rather than stopping it to check the toasting progress.
good old British standard . pity this is also now made in China , but it a better quality

Don't really like, bought as it was red to replace my russell hobbs toaster. Too slow, doest toast some breads at all even on max. Looks nice but not a patch on my previous toaster.

Gorgeous chunky statement piece that compliments the matching kettle. Just sad its a snug fit for the sliced bread so Im trimming the crust off first.

This toaster may have 6 settings for the level of browning control, but none of them have yet to make anything more than slightly tanned after a couple of week's usage. We replaced our previous toaster because it stopped browning the lower third of each slice, but it did make the rest a dark brown colour even when set below maximum. This one has turned out to be disappointing in it's ability to perform its main purpose.
Love this toaster so much, looks so nice along with the matching kettle. The settings are so easy to use, and fits all sizes and thicknesses of bread that I’ve tried. I couldn’t say the value for money is great as you can get a toaster that works the same for less, but it does look really nice so was worth it for me
I have sourdough seeded from M&S and the shape makes it difficult to fit in as slices thinner and bit longer, half size of normal loaf and will not always fit in the slots or lay at an angle leaving bit sticking out at the top as won’t go in straight so laying at angle . Will tip if you push it back so need to hold both sides to push back against kitchen wall . Looks very nice and I love the colour as with the matching kettle it could do with being a little bit bigger .
Overall, I'm very pleased with the Haden Jersey Toaster. I purchased the putty colour, which is both subtle and tasteful.The pros:I like that the top is moulded in a way that crumbs don't catch and get trapped around the top rim, like so many other toasters, making this easy to wipe clean. So far, it's toasting evenly and the wide slots take breakfast muffins easily. The design is more compact than my last toaster, so I've regained a small amount of workspace. I love the independent browning controls and the cable tidy feature hides most of the wire neatly away.It's a light weight model but has good balance and a positive, stable mechanism compared to some toasters, which are prone to toppling when you push down the lever handle.Could be better:My one real niggle is that the slots are a little shallow, so that about 1cm of a normal bread slice protrudes at the top.Whilst this model doesn't include a lift and view mid cycle or a bagel feature (toasts on one side only), I've never had these features before, so don't really miss them, but might be nice to have... Although, personally, I prefer my bagels toasted on both sides anyway.On balance:If this toaster was slightly taller with deeper slots, with a slightly higher lift mechanism to compensate for the extra depth, it would fit my needs perfectly.
