Great toaster. Never heard of HADEN so we took a chance with this brand. We needed a red toaster and this was a retro modern version appealing to the eye. It has large slots so I am sure you could do bagels in it. Warburtons brioche sliced rolls worked a treat when we had pulled pork recently. You need to put the slice of bread horizontally into the toaster rather than vertically because the top of the toast doesn’t get toasted. This is a problem with all modern toasters. The bread has gotten taller but the toasters haven’t changed. This model has different levels to toast to your hearts delight. It also has something called auto centering so that the bread is toasted evenly. Not sure how it works. I put a piece of bread in the toaster and it sounded like it was shifting the bread around. Sourdough bread is interesting. You have to toast it twice because it just doesn’t toast in the first toasting regardless of of the selected heat. I think this is due to its texture.
