Meet Frankentoast — the ultimate spooky breakfast!
A fun, frightfully tasty toast that’s perfect for Halloween mornings or party snacks. Creamy avocado, crunchy toast, and playful toppings come together to create your very own mini Frankensteins! Made by suing Jersey Cedar Toaster.
Ingredients:
- Slices of bread (toasted)
- 1 ripe avocado
- Cherry tomatoes
- Radishes
- Seaweed sheets
- Red pepper
- Small gherkins
- Walnuts
Instructions:
1. Toast & Mash:
Pop your bread into the toaster until golden and crisp.
Meanwhile, scoop and mash one ripe avocado in a bowl.
2. Chop & Prep:
- Slice radishes into thin circles (for eyes and ears).
- Cut small cubes of red pepper (for eyeballs and nose).
- Trim seaweed sheets into hair shapes, eyes, and little mouth stitches.
- Small gherkins for noses.
- Halve walnuts and radish rounds to make the ears.
3. Build Your Frankentoast:
Spread mashed avocado over each toast slice.
Then decorate to match the image or get creative with your own monster design! Seaweed for hair, radish seaweed and red pepper for eyes, gherkin for nose, walnuts for ears, and a tomato for mouth.
4. Serve & Scare:
Arrange your spooky creations on a platter and add some extra nuts and cherry tomatoes around for a Halloween vibe.
