Hot Honey Halloumi Bites

Sweet, salty with a little kick — these hot honey halloumi bites are an easy crowd-pleasing snack made in the air fryer.
Golden halloumi is tossed in hot honey, olive oil, fresh thyme and cracked black pepper before being air fried until deliciously golden. Finished with fresh chilli, parsley and an extra drizzle of honey, they’re perfect for sharing, dipping or enjoying straight from the plate.
Ingredients
- 400g halloumi, cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp hot honey
- Fresh chilli, finely chopped
- Fresh thyme
- Fresh parsley
- Cracked black pepper
Method
1. Prepare the halloumi
Add the olive oil, hot honey, fresh thyme and cracked black pepper to a bowl and mix well.
Add the cubed halloumi and toss until each piece is nicely coated in the mixture.
2. Air fry
Transfer the halloumi to the air fryer basket and cook at 180°C for 12 minutes, turning the pieces halfway through.
Cook until golden and lightly crisp on the outside.
3. Finish and serve
Transfer the hot halloumi bites to a serving plate and finish with freshly chopped chilli, parsley and an extra drizzle of hot honey.
Serve warm and enjoy while the halloumi is golden and gooey.
The little extra
Love a little more heat? Add an extra sprinkle of fresh chilli before serving, or drizzle over a little more hot honey for that perfect sweet-and-spicy finish.
