Carrot fries are one of those simple recipes that turn an everyday vegetable into something you actually crave. They are crisp on the outside, soft in the middle, and full of smoky spice. Perfect as a side for burgers, wraps, or a quick snack on their own.

INGREDIENTS
500 grams of carrots
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons oil
2 teaspoons paprika powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
half teaspoon garlic powder
half teaspoon cayenne powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- Prepare the carrots
Peel the carrots and cut them into long, thin strips, similar to fries. - Coat with cornstarch
Place the carrot strips into a large bowl. Add cornstarch and mix until all pieces are lightly coated. - Season
Add oil, paprika powder, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly coated. - Air fry
Place the carrots in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 to 20 minutes. Shake or turn halfway through for even crisping. - Serve
Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

These carrot fries work well with burgers, grilled chicken, or as a snack with dips like garlic yoghurt, spicy mayo, or hummus.
