Easy Crispy Air-Fryer Tofu
Make this delicious & healthy Air-Fryer Tofu! Enjoy it with noodles, rice or in your favourite salads.
Did you know that Tofu is made out of soybeans & it is considered as fibre-packed plant protein? This recipe is a simple way to make Tofu perfectly crispy on the outside & soft light inside. What's more, there's no corn starch required for this recipe.
1 block firm tofu (pressed & cut into cubes)
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tsp rice vinegar
2 Tsp sesame oil
1, Press the tofu by placing it on a layer of paper towels & set something heavy on top, but not too heavy otherwise the tofu will be crushed. This helps to remove the moisture. Leave it for 15 mins.
2, Cut the tofu into cubes.
3, In a large mixing bowl, mix tofu, soy sauce, rice vinegar & oil. Set aside & marinate for 10-30 mins.
4, Place the marinated tofu in the air-fryer basket.
5, Set the air-fryer to 190C & air-fry for 20 mins, shaking the basket after 10 mins.
6, Serve with noodles, rice, salads or enjoy on its own.
